Yun Hong is a professor, a master's supervisor and dean of the School of Foreign Languages of Sichuan University of Science and Engineering. She is also the Director of Research Center for International Transmission of Liquor Culture, vice president of Sichuan Applied Foreign Languages Association, the president of South Sichuan Foreign Languages Association and the president of Zigong Translation Association. She has published more than 50 papers and more than 10 works, and presided over and participated in more than 20 provincial and ministerial level projects. Her teaching and scientific research achievements have won many awards at various levels. The Chinese-English Dictionary of Chinese Baijiu Culture published by the Commercial Press won the third prize of Sichuan Provincial Government and the first prize of Yibin Municipal Government. The translation of Meditations in Milan won the first prize of Tianfu Translation in Sichuan Province.
