Research Center for International Transmission of Sichuan Liquor Culture

The center, based on the translation research center and economic and trade foreign language research center of Sichuan University of Science and Engineering, implements the mechanism of industry-university-research cooperation and co-establishment with Wuliangye Group, Luzhou Laojiao Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Swellfun Co., Ltd. It is an academic institution focusing on product marketing and international transmission of Sichuan liquor culture, healthy drinking and international transmission of Sichuan liquor culture, and is a key research base of humanities and social sciences among Sichuan’s universities approved by Education Department of Sichuan Province.

Popularization Center for the Dissemination of the Local Cultures of Southern Sichuan Province

The center is a social science popularization base, in line with the planning of Zigong City and Sichuan University of Science and Engineering and based on the School of Foreign Languages of Sichuan University of Science and Engineering. "Base" adheres to the policy of "reliance on resources, prominent characteristics, cross integration, openness and innovation, key leapfrog", insists on the positioning of "based in Sichuan, radiating the whole country, facing the world". At present, it has formed an academic team led by professors from the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Humanities, the School of Fine Arts and the School of Music, with reasonable age structure and knowledge structure, high academic level, and aims to contribute to the external transmission and social science popularization of local culture in Zigong City, Sichuan Province and even the whole country.

The Popularization Base for the Dissemination of the Local Cultures 

The Popularization Base for the dissemination of the Local Cultures focuses on building a comprehensive introduction and research on local culture of South Sichuan at national level, and plans to establish liquor culture, salt culture, Buddha culture, tea culture, the upper reaches of the Yangtze River culture, etc. Then, by developing supporting facilities of various forms, it will create the theme base with new concept for spreading local culture from southern Sichuan, which integrates collection display, education research, tourism and recreation, collection exchange, art expo, film and television shooting and other functions.
