Shi Yan, Ph.D., is a professor and master's supervisor. She is recognized as an outstanding instructor in the mechanical industry, serves as a judge for the National 3D Digital Innovative Design Competition, and is a member of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education's High-end CNC Machine Tools and Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Research and Innovation Team. Her primary research focuses on the theory of optimization design for process equipment and the application of intelligent equipment design and technology. She has led or participated in more than 10 projects at the provincial and ministerial levels, as well as over 20 enterprise technology development projects or other types of research projects. She has published more than 40 academic papers, including 5 indexed in SCI and 3 in EI, and  holds 15 authorized patents. Her contributions have been recognized with over 60 national and provincial awards.
