President Tuo Xianguo led a delegation to visit three universities in Malaysia

On March 31, 2019, President Tuo Xianguo led a delegation to visit the University of Sabah, Xiamen University Malaysia Branch, and the University of Malaya in Malaysia.

 

 

On April 1st, the delegation visited the University of Sabah (UMS) and was warmly received by DR Rasid Mail, the Vice President in charge of international exchange at UMS, and DR Wardatul, the Deputy Director of the International Education Department. They also held an exchange symposium and signing ceremony.

 

 

President Tuo Xianguo stated that UMS is a very beautiful and well-known university, with many similarities in its disciplinary and professional settings, and there is a lot of room for cooperation with the UMS. President Tuo introduced SUSE's contribution to the construction of high-level universities through international education, its active integration into the "the Belt and Road" national strategy, and its expansion of new forms and contents of international education.

 

 

On April 2nd, the delegation visited Xiamen University Malaysia Branch and was warmly received by President Wang Ruifang. At the symposium, the basic situation of SUSE was introduced. He hoped the two schools can engage in exchange and cooperation in student exchange, scientific research, and other areas.

 

 

On April 3rd, the delegation visited the University of Malaya and was warmly received by the Director of the International Exchange Department and the heads of the International College and related colleges. President Tuo Xianguo believes that the University of Malaya is a highly accomplished university, and many aspects are worth learning. After introducing the basic situation of the school, President Tuo stated that the purpose of SUSE's trip is to learn from the advanced experience of the University of Malaya in governance and education, and hopes to send outstanding teachers and students to here for learning and exchange.
