On August 10, 2020, Li Bin, the Chief Representative of UWIC in China, and his delegation visited the Yibin campus to conduct an inspection and discussion on the joint establishment of Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools between SUSE and UWIC.The vice president，Gao Xiaolin, warmly received the guests.

Gao Xiaolin introduced the history of SUSE, international exchanges, and the basic situation of international education. He said that open education is one of SUSE's development strategies, and in recent years, we have achieved significant results in improving the level of education openness to the outside world, expanding international influence, and achieving internationalization of education. 

Representative Li Bin introduced the situation of UWIC. He pointed out that internationalization is the distinctive feature of UWIC, and Sichuan is an important battlefield for UWIC cooperation. UWIC and SUSE are both local universities with many similarities, and he hopes that the two universities can cooperate in their respective advantageous majors.
