On December 12, 2021, the first alumni association for international students of Sichuan University of Science and Engineering -the Laotian Alumni Association, was established. CHITTATHAMMO CHANTHAVILAY (Chinese name: Su Tie), a master's degree graduate in law, was elected as the president of the first alumni association. By the end of 2023, there are over 100 Laotian alumni. After returning from their alma mater, Laotian alumni have been striving in various fronts in Laos and have gradually become contributors to hometown construction, disseminators of Chinese stories, and successful individuals in their own lives and careers.

On December 9, 2022, the second SUSE alumni association for international students- the Pakistani Alumni Association was established. SHOUKAT MUHAMMAD USMAN(Chinese name: Gao Xing), a graduate of master's degree in Control Engineering was elected as the president of the association. By the end of 2023, there are over 50 Pakistani alumni, of whom nearly 40 are currently pursuing a PhD in China, except for a few who have returned to work.

At present, the establishment of African Alumni Association is under preparation.
