Law
Guided by the strategy of “the combination of research and study, the cohesion of industry and teaching, and the development with characteristics”, according to the idea of studying for service, facing the units at grass-roots level in the west,the Major of Law aims to cultivate comprehensive, applied and excellent legal professionals, who acquire systematic legal knowledge structure, solid legal theory basis, professional legal thought, proficient legal practice skills, and the basic theory of China’s socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics, who obtain the ability of practice, the spirit of innovation, and the quality of social science and law, who are competent with legal practice professions, as well as meet the requirements of the economic and social development in China’s different industries and regions. Depending on the advantages of the science and engineering disciplines of SUSE and platforms related to intellectual property of the School of Law, according to the construction of interdisciplinary mechanism of cultivating and practicing, the major cultivates legal professionals with related economics and management knowledge and abilities of legal practice.
Labor and Social Security
The major cultivates excellent applied professionals, who are comprehensively developed, acquire basic knowledge of multiple disciplines of management, economics, law, sociology, obtain systematic knowledge structure, solid theory basis, professional thought and proficient practice skills, as well as have fairly high social responsibilities and innovation spirit. According to the cultivating and practicing mechanism, the major cultivates labor and social security professionals with related law and management knowledge and legal spirit and innovative ruling abilities.
Administrative Management
The education of administrative management program adheres to the concept of “student-centered, result-oriented and continuous improvement” in talent development, upholds the concept of service-oriented learning, and focuses on the capacity building for primary-level governance. It aims to cultivate professionals with a broad worldview and historical cultural awareness, as well as scientific spirit and humanistic literacy. Students are required to follow the professional philosophy of “acting with integrity and governing with moral sentiment”, to have a high spirit of public service and duty, to adapt themselves to the needs and requirements of contemporary public management and to respect public interests and public values.
