On October 29, as invited by School of Civil Engineering of Sichuan University of Science and Engineering (SUSE), professor Alain L’Hostis from University of Eiffel Goust, France visited School of Civil Engineering of SUSE for academic exchanges.  Liao Yinghua,Dean of School of Civil Engineering, , Sima Weiping, deputy dean of School of Civil Engineering,  Zhang Zhengrui, directorof the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Yang Yanxin, Zhao Yana, director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and some other key teachers attended this meeting.

During the meeting, after extending a warm welcome to Professor Alain's arrival, Liao Yinghua introduced the development history of SUSE and school of Civil Engineering. He also demonstrated the remarkable achievements made by School of Civil Engineering in the field of scientific research in recent years. Professor Alain introduced University of Eiffel Goust, France and shared their research progress in fields such as Transit-Oriented Development (TOD).

During the exchange, both sides also conducted in-depth discussions on aspects such as international project cooperation, talent cultivation, academic resource sharing, and exchanges of teachers and students between two sides. Professor Alain put forward some innovative cooperation models and shared France's practical experience in the integration of industry, academia, and research. Liao Yinghua hoped that through this exchange, the cooperation between the two sides in cutting-edge fields such as TOD and intelligent construction could be further deepened, and School of Civil Engineering could stride new steps in its international development.
