Updated: June 19th, 2024 Source: suse.edu.cn

Dear Teachers and Fellow Students,

My name is Yang Jia, an international student from Uzbekistan. Over the past four years of study and life at this university, I have experienced a lot and grown significantly. When I first arrived on campus, I was a young person full of uncertainty about the future. It was my alma mater that provided me with abundant knowledge and broadened my horizons. Here, I not only gained academic knowledge but also developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

During these four years, I studied International Economics and Trade at the School of Economics. I am especially grateful to the professors there. They not only imparted theoretical knowledge but also taught me how to analyze and solve real-world problems. Through participating in various research projects and internships, I accumulated valuable practical experience.

I also actively took part in many extracurricular activities, which enriched my life and allowed me to make many friends. By participating in volunteer work and student organization activities on and off campus, I learned the value of teamwork and strengthened my sense of social responsibility.

Looking ahead, I now have a clear goal. I hope to pursue further studies in the field of international economics and trade and strive for academic breakthroughs on a higher platform. I also aspire to return to Uzbekistan in the future, applying the knowledge and experience gained here to real-world work and contributing to my country’s development.

Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my alma mater. Thank you, Sichuan University of Science & Engineering, and all the teachers and classmates who have helped me along the way. Your support and encouragement made me feel at home in a foreign land. This university has not only equipped me with knowledge but also shaped my character, giving me confidence in the future!

Dear Teachers and Fellow Students,

My name is Su Wanzhen, a student from Brazil. When we embarked on our journey to China, we carried not only hopes and dreams but also a touch of nervousness. We were about to enter a completely new culture, thousands of miles away from home. However, from the moment we set foot on this welcoming land, we were surrounded by warmth and hospitality, which quickly dissolved our initial apprehension.

Our journey here has been far more than academic. We expanded our horizons, immersed ourselves in a culture with thousands of years of history, and learned a new language. Each day was a discovery, and every encounter offered opportunities for personal and academic growth.

Sichuan University of Science & Engineering has been more than just an educational institution; it has become our second home. It is a place where we felt warmth, developed our skills, built lifelong friendships, and, most importantly, became part of something greater than ourselves.

I cannot fully express my gratitude for everything Sichuan University of Science & Engineering has given us. Every class, every conversation, and every shared moment has shaped our knowledge, worldview, and future aspirations.

Though farewells are inevitable, the memories we have created here will last forever. I leave Sichuan University of Science & Engineering with a heart full of gratitude, knowing that this experience has left an indelible mark on my life. To the dear teachers and friends I have met along the way, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this journey so special.

Even as we say goodbye, I hope fate will bring us together again. May we one day return to China—whether to pursue further studies, explore new discoveries, or reconnect with the bonds we’ve built here.

Finally, I want to express my deepest appreciation to Sichuan University of Science & Engineering for opening its doors to Brazilian students like me. May the cooperation between our two countries continue to flourish, providing more students with the rich experiences we have been fortunate to enjoy.
