To enhance students' international perspectives, strengthen awareness of globalization, and promote cultural exchange and integration of international students in China, Xihua University Yibin Campus held the 3rd International Exchange Week on May 16. The international students of SUSE were invited to participate in the event.
On the morning of May 16, a group of international student representatives, accompanied by five teachers from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and the International College, walked to the Xihua University Yibin Campus Auditorium to attend the opening ceremony of the 3rd International Exchange Week. Vice President Fei Ling of Xihua University warmly welcomed the faculty and students from partner universities and announced the official opening of the event. Indonesian and Laotian students from Xihua University performed traditional dances of their respective countries, receiving applause from the audience. Besides, Sichuan opera face-changing and fire-spitting performances brought cheers from the audience, leaving both Chinese and foreign faculty and students who were seeing them for the first time in awe.
After the opening ceremony, the international students visited the Mini Expo and engaged in face-to-face exchanges with fellow international students from different countries. Through this event, SUSE’s international students strengthened their exchanges and mutual learning with faculty and students from partner universities.
