Introduction to Majors

Civil Engineering 

This program aims to cultivate individuals who are adaptable to the needs of socialist modernization construction, with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills. The students will master the basic principles and knowledge of civil engineering disciplines, undergo basic training as engineers, and acquire specialized knowledge and basic skills in engineering survey, structural design, scientific research, engineering testing, and construction management in the field of civil engineering. Graduates will be capable of handling various tasks, including the design, construction, and management of civil engineering facilities such as buildings, roads, and bridges. They will possess the necessary knowledge and qualities for professional qualifications such as national registered construction engineer, structural engineer, and supervising engineer. Additionally, they will demonstrate strong practical and innovative abilities, along with teamwork and a certain international perspective, making them applied engineering and management professionals.

 

Construction Cost Engineering

This program aims to cultivate individuals who are adaptable to the needs of socialist modernization construction, with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills. The students will acquire knowledge related to engineering cost and civil engineering, and they will possess the foundational knowledge and specialized expertise required for engineering cost management, including management, economics, and law. Graduates will be equipped with a solid understanding of modern engineering cost management theories, methods, and tools. They will undergo basic training as engineers, demonstrating strong practical abilities. Additionally, they will have the necessary knowledge and qualities for professional qualifications such as national registered cost engineer, builder, and supervising engineer. They will be capable of engaging in advanced applied engineering technology and management work in various stages of engineering construction projects, including engineering estimation, feasibility studies for engineering projects, bidding and contract management, and engineering investment management and cost control.

 

Water Supply and Drainage

This program aims to cultivate individuals who are adaptable to the needs of socialist modernization construction in the new era, with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills. Students are expected to have a strong foundation in natural sciences and humanities and social sciences, possess computer and foreign language application skills, and master the theoretical knowledge of water supply and drainage science and engineering. Graduates of this major will undergo basic engineering training and possess an innovative spirit, making them advanced applied engineering and technical professionals. They should have the capability to engage in work related to engineering planning, design, construction, operation, and management in the field of water supply and drainage engineering.

 

Intelligent Construction

The Intelligent Construction program aims to cultivate individuals who are adaptable to the needs of socialist modernization construction, with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills. Students are expected to have a solid theoretical foundation, strong practical skills, and possess good humanistic qualities, aesthetic sensibilities, innovative thinking, teamwork spirit, lifelong learning awareness, and an international perspective. This major is designed to meet the demands of the intelligent development in the field of civil engineering. Graduates should be capable of understanding, analyzing, evaluating, and solving complex engineering problems in the field of intelligent construction. They are expected to excel in various aspects of intelligent construction projects, including design, construction, organization, operation, and management, making them highly qualified applied professionals.
