Wei Piwei is an associate professor with Ph.D. and a master’s supervisor. His researches focus on rice breeding for food processing and wine-making. He was honored as one of distinguished young scientists of Sichuan University of science & engineering in 2017. His research interest is seed dormancy and pre-harvest spouting in rice.
