1. Food science and engineering
Food Science and Engineering is one of the first-class construction discipline groups in our school's discipline development plan. It adheres to the principle of "based on Sichuan, radiating to the southwest, and facing the whole country", serving the local and regional economy, closely connecting with industries, and deeply integrating industry and education to solve major scientific problems in actual production. As a starting point, build an engineering master's degree authorization point that pays equal attention to basic research and applied research. This discipline now covers three secondary disciplines: food science, agricultural product processing and storage engineering, and brewing engineering, and one interdisciplinary intelligent brewing engineering. It has distinctive features in liquor brewing, fruit and vegetable processing, etc., and has the "National Engineering Practice Education Center for Solid State Brewing" 3 national-level platforms including "Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory of Brewing Biotechnology and Application" and "Sichuan Provincial Grain Engineering Technology Research Center for Brewing" and 9 provincial and ministerial-level platforms. The first-level disciplines of food science and engineering include three secondary disciplines: food science, agricultural product processing and storage engineering, and brewing engineering, as well as the interdisciplinary direction of intelligent brewing engineering.
2. Light Chemical Engineering (including leather, paper, fabric processing, etc. ) ( Professional Degree )
It covers light industry, chemistry, environment, engineering cross-cutting areas, involving multi-disciplinary, multi-technology, multi-industry, the use of modern engineering and technical means to study and solve the light industry pulp and paper industry in the field of product transformation and technological improvement. The field takes the development and application of modern light industry engineering technology as the main research content, focusing on promoting the improvement of the pulp and paper field of light industry and the establishment of modern new achievement industry, in the pulp and paper engineering, light industry waste resource utilization, low pollution pulping, fiber product development and utilization, and biomass high value application and development and other aspects of research.

3. Biology and Medicine (Professional Degree)
Biology and medicine are the key strategic emerging industries in China. The related fields have a wide range of directions, wide caliber, wide coverage, and cross-integration with multiple engineering technology categories and fields. The discipline is rooted in southern Sichuan, facing the west. It is oriented to the development needs of bio-pharmaceutical industry, food fermentation, wine industry, agricultural product processing industry, and other industries. It is oriented to the development and application of technology, engineering design and implementation, technical research and transformation, engineering planning and management in the fields of biotechnology, food, fermentation, and other industries. It carries out engineering research on modern agricultural product processing principles and processes, food engineering high-tech and equipment, food quality and safety control technology, food biotechnology, food industry development and planning, food quality standards, biomass fiber material development and other aspects.
4. Food processing and Safety(Professional degree)
It is a professional master's degree in agriculture related to agricultural production, food processing, food quality and safety supervision and other qualifications. This field has formed two research directions of grain and oil intensive processing and food safety control technology. The teaching staff in this field has a reasonable structure, rich experience in theoretical and practical teaching, and rich achievements in teaching reform and scientific research.
