On the morning of July 26th, Professor Karlo Kopaliani, President of Georgia University of Technology, and his delegation visited our school. This is a return visit after Vice President Luo Huibo of SUSE led a delegation to visit Georgia in late June this year. It is an important exchange visit to deepen the friendship between the two sides when the World University Games is about to be held in China.

In the Liquor Plaza of Yibin Campus of our university, Vice President Luo Huibo gave an introduction to Georgian guests around the construction of science and technology city in Yibin University City and the disciplines and specialties of our school. After that, President Carlo and his delegation visited the pilot workshop of the Institute of Bioengineering and learned about the brewing of liquor, beer and fruit wine. In the liquor tasting room, Luo Huibo explained the steps of wine tasting to the guests in detail, and the guests tasted the liquor on the spot after studying. In the School of Automation and Information Engineering, the guests watched the participating robots displayed by students with great interest and visited the relevant laboratories.

After that, the international cooperation and exchange meeting between two Universities was held in Room 424 of Yibin Campus Complex. President Tuo Xianguo attended and delivered a speech, and Vice President Luo Huibo presided over the meeting.
