Preschool Education

This major is based on virtue and cultivating people, based on Zigong, rooted in southern Sichuan, serving the whole province and facing the whole country, cultivating all-round development of morality, intellect, physical and aesthetics, love the cause of preschool education, have good ideological and moral qualities and a sense of social responsibility, have the basic knowledge, basic theories, basic skills and methods of preschool education, have certain scientific literacy, humanistic quality and international vision, and have strong innovation consciousness and practical ability of high-quality applied talents. Students who graduate from this major can be engaged in education, research and management in educational institutions, educational administrative departments and other related institutions.

Applied Psychology

This major cultivates high-quality applied talents with a broad international perspective, solid professional foundation, outstanding innovative spirit, and practical ability. Graduates are equipped with the basic theories, knowledge, and skills of psychology, receive preliminary scientific thinking and experimental training, and are able to apply psychological knowledge to solve practical problems. These graduates can work in research departments, educational institutions, and other enterprises and institutions, engaging in psychology-related work in various fields (including but not limited to public administration, business management, economic decision-making, public relations, marketing, advertising planning, industrial and commercial design, public security, military, sports, culture and art, aerospace, healthcare, and social work), or continue to pursue master’s or doctoral degrees in related disciplines as applied or compound talents.
