Cheng Chunru is a professor with Ph.D. and a master’s supervisor.  His research areas include the separation and purification of natural products, the modification of natural products, and drug development. He has presided over more than 20 projects at various levels , published 1 monograph and over 60 papers and obtained 6 invention patents.
