Liang Xingyong is an associate professor with PhD and a master's supervisor. His research program is focused on the areas of synthetic chemistry, the conformational analysis of oligosaccharides and the design of novel therapeutic agents that act by inhibiting carbohydrate-processing enzymes. He has presided over or participated in more than 6 projects,  published over 6 papers and obtained 6 patents in the last five years.
