Management Science and Engineering

The major is one of the key disciplines in the 14th Five-Year Plan of the university. This discipline is based on management science and economics, closely integrated with engineering science, mathematics, statistics, education, etc. It cultivates all-round development of morality, intelligence and physical fitness, with a solid foundation of management theory and in-depth systematic knowledge of management, and able to correctly use management methods, system analysis methods combining qualitative and quantitative methods and corresponding engineering methods to solve the relevant theoretical and practical problems of management, and to engage in scientific research, teaching work, or independently undertake specialized technical work. Students are also capable of engaging in scientific research, teaching, or independently undertaking specialized technical work. The discipline successfully passed the assessment of degree authorization points of the Ministry of Education in 2015, and entered the top 120 in the fourth round of national discipline assessment in 2017.

Accounting (MPAcc)

Adhering to the educational concept of giving equal importance to professionalism and ethics, relying on the characteristics of the university and the comprehensive advantages of management disciplines, and highlighting the intersection and innovation of management, economics, engineering and technology disciplines the program aims to cultivate a group of students who have good professional conduct, enterprising spirit and sense of innovation, who have a systematic mastery of the basic theories of modern accounting as well as the knowledge and skills of related fields, and who have a broad international outlook. The program aims to cultivate a group of outstanding accountants who are “proficient in accounting, good at management, and knowledgeable about technology” with good professional ethics, enterprising spirit and innovative consciousness, who systematically master the basic theories of modern accounting and the knowledge and skills in related fields, and who have a broad international vision, a keen sense of insight, an insistent learning ability, a meticulous thinking ability, extraordinary leadership ability and a precise execution ability, and who are capable of solving problems in creative ways. Focusing on the development needs of the regional economy and industrial chain, the program conducts continuous and forward-looking research on financial accounting, management accounting, financial management, corporate governance, corporate strategy, etc., develops comprehensive quality training through the special modules of practical finance and economics, managerial wisdom, and technology collection, etc., strives to build a new accounting talent cultivation base that integrates “business, finance, and technology”, and has an outstanding influence. It strives to build a new type of accounting talent training base with excellent influence, and endeavors to become the cradle of cultivating elite accounting talents in special industries.
