Liu Xiaolan is a professor with doctor degree. She focus on the research on immovable point theory and applications, variational inequality problems, ordinary differential equations. She mainly engaged in the teaching of "mathematical analysis", "ordinary differential equations", "discrete mathematics", "real functions", "control theory" teaching, has published 59 papers, including 33 SCI, presided over the number of projects 15, of which the provincial and ministerial projects 4, municipal and departmental projects. She has been awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Teacher" by Sichuan University of Light Industry and Chemical Engineering.
