I.Introduction
Technische Universität Dresden, founded in 1828 and located in Dresden, the capital of the Free State of Saxony, is one of Germany's leading universities of science and technology and one of the world's top universities of science and technology.
TU Dresden is now one of the eleven German elite universities, one of the nine members of the top German Technical University Union (TU9), one of the seven German universities of the European Top Industrial Managers' Universities Union (T.I.M.E.), one of the six German universities of the Partnership Alliance of European Universities in Aeronautics and Astronautics (PEGASUS), and one of the ten German universities of the Conference of Universities for Higher Engineering Education and Research in Europe (CESAER). one of ten universities in Germany.
Technische Universität Dresden is ranked 179th in the QS Global Universities Ranking 2020 and 157th in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020,; and 6th in Germany in the QS Global Graduate Employment Competitiveness Ranking 2019.
In July 2019, Germany announced a new group of "Elite Universities", a total of 10 universities and one university consortium were selected, and TU Dresden is still listed.
II. Introduction of the program
(I) Target: The program is open to all new students.
(B) Specialties and Directions: The program mainly admits students majoring in mechanics, automobiles, electrics, materials, civil engineering, computers and so on.
(C) Entrance Requirements: The program is open to all first-year and second-year undergraduate students.
(D) Mode of Study and Fees
The Talent Cultivation Program (Dual Degree) of Sichuan University of Science and Engineering is jointly initiated by SUSE and Technische Universität Dresden.
The program adopts the basic mode of 2+1+2, and the learning process is as follows:
1. 2 years of normal study at SUSE, along with German language study;
2. 1 year of intensive German language study at Technische Universität Dresden, Germany;
3. 2 years of study at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany;
Upon graduation, students receive an undergraduate degree from the SUSE and an undergraduate degree from the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany.
The program is now officially launched at SUSE with one class in 2019. The program has been in operation for many years in Electronic Science and Technology University and Xihua University, and has sent 200+ students to Germany for further study.
