Mutual Credit Recognition Program with the University of Białystok, Poland

 University Introduction

The University of Bialystok, located in the city of Bialystok, Poland, was originally a branch of the University of Warsaw (ranked number one in Poland) and became independent on June 19, 1997, making it one of the largest and most important academic centers in northeastern Poland. The university has about 15,000 students and has a highly internationalized curriculum with doctoral and post-doctoral programs in English, Economics and Management, Educational Psychology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and many other disciplines.

Language Requirements

All majors are taught in English: CEFR B2 or above, IELTS 5.5 or above, TOEFL 78 or above, CET 4 or above, or pass the language examination organized by the University of Bialystok.

Fees

1. Tuition fee: 850 Euros/Semester (about 6,800 RMB), subject to the notification of the foreign school and the exchange rate at that time.

2. Miscellaneous Fees: RMB 30,000, including 1 semester accommodation fee, accommodation deposit, application guidance, language training, overseas pick-up, overseas insurance and other related expenses.

3. For those who meet the language requirements at the time of application, the language test and intensive training fee will be reduced or waived by RMB 3,000 at the end of the program.

4. The above estimated fees do not include: visa fees, notary fees, international round-trip travel, textbooks and materials, personal living expenses (about RMB 3,500/month, subject to actual personal expenses), personal travel, personal insurance and other related expenses.

 

Requirements

(a) Full-time students officially registered in Sichuan University of Science & Enigineering;

(b) Be in good health, have high comprehensive quality and the ability to study and live independently;

(c) They have not received any disciplinary action during their study and promise to abide by the law and discipline during their study abroad;

(d) Have the financial ability to pay for the expenses related to studying and living abroad.

Principle

Voluntary application, college recommendation, interview and assessment, university finalization, signing and dispatching.

Application Materirals

1. Application Form for Undergraduate and Graduate Students of SUSE to Go Abroad;

2. Transcript in Chinese and English;

3. Copies for language certificate

4. Proof of awards or honors (if any, not more than 3)

Time

1. Deadline for application: the end of May for fall semester; the end of December for spring semester.

2. Internview arrangement: June for fall semester, November for spring smester.

3. Preparation for study abroad: July to August for fall semester, November to January for spring smester.

4. Departure: Subject to the notification.

Others

(a) Students should sign a study abroad agreement and receive pre-departure education before going abroad.

(b) Abandonment after being admitted to the program except for force majeure factors or violation of the agreement is a serious breach of trust, and applicants with such circumstances cannot apply for any study abroad program on campus again during their stay in the university.
