The Institute of higher education is a specialized institution integrating scientific research, decision-making, consultation, teaching and management. Based on the frontier of higher education discipline, the Institute has formed four research directions, namely, university culture and thought, University Governance and modernization, University Transformation and development theory and practical education philosophy theory, and focuses on serving the theory and practice of higher education discipline. Since its establishment, the Institute's full-time and part-time researchers have published nearly 70 papers of various types, including 10 full-text reprints of the materials copied by the National People's Congress, excerpts of the arguments of Xinhua digest, academic abstracts of Liberal Arts in Colleges and universities, and the full-text reprints of the China Social Sciences Network, 23 CSSCI and Peking University's core papers, and 4 incubation monographs. The Institute has won two national education science planning projects and one plan project of the Department of science and technology of Sichuan Province, One philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project in Sichuan Province has won five provincial and ministerial outstanding achievements in Social Sciences and three municipal outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences.
