On March 4, 2019, Azerbaijani Ambassador to China Jenali Akram accompanied by staff from provincial and municipal departments, visited Yibin campus. Vice President Gao Xiaolin warmly received the guests and accompanied them on a tour of the Yibin campus.

Gao Xiaolin gave a brief introduction to the construction and overall layout of the Yibin campus. Ambassador Jenali praised the campus environment and cultural development of SUSE endlessly. He said it is the most beautiful campus he has ever seen, and the campus environment is no less than some universities in Europe and America.

During the visit, Xia Hongzhong, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, briefly introduced the enrollment and training situation of international students, and also the scholarship policy for them. The ambassador stated that they will start promoting educational cooperation and exchanges between Azerbaijani universities and SUSE, and actively encourage Azerbaijani students to study here.

Subsequently, Ambassador Jenali had a conversation with Azerbaijani international students, learned about their learning situation and daily life at SUSE, and encouraged them to cherish learning opportunities, study hard, act as cultural exchange ambassadors and promote friendship between the two countries.
