On the afternoon of March 8th, Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, Executive Vice President of Assumption University of Thailand, and his delegation came to Libaihe Campus to have a discussion on promoting international educational exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.

On behalf of SUSE, the president, Tuo Xianguo, extended a sincere welcome to Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, Executive Vice President of Yisancang University in Thailand, and his party. He said that Thailand has a good learning atmosphere, Assumption University of Thailand is a university with all international influence, and some teachers and students of Sichuan University of Light Chemical Industry choose to continue their studies at Assumption University of Thailand. I believe that there will be more in-depth and extensive cooperation between our school and Assumption University of Thailand, and more effective results will be achieved.

Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, Executive Vice President of Assumption University of Thailand, expressed sincere gratitude for coming to Sichuan University of Science and Engineering for an exchange visit. He gave a brief introduction to Assumption University of Thailand. He said that choosing Sichuan University of Science and Engineering for his first visit abroad after the epidemic was an affirmation of the cooperation between the two sides, and he hoped that the two sides could have more cooperation in the future.

President Tuo Xianguo and Dr. Verayuth Boonpram issued employment certificates to the newly appointed doctoral supervisors.

The participants discussed the future opportunities for international cooperation between Sichuan University of Science and Engineering and Assumption University of Thailand in scientific research cooperation, teacher-student exchange visits and cultural exchanges.
