On May 26th, Prof. PROF.DR.PAKORNKIAT SAWETMETHIKUL, deputy dean of the School of Technical Education of Rajamangala University of Technology, and his delegation visited our school for a discussion to promote international educational exchanges and cooperation between the two schools. Yan Jie, the vice president received the visiting guests at 901, the administrative center of Libaihe Campus. Themeeting was hosted by Li Yongmei, Director (Dean) of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department (International College), and the heads of relevant departments and colleges and faculty members attended the symposium.
On behalf of the SUSE, Vice President Yan Jie expressed sincere welcome to PROF.DR.PAKORNKIAT SAWETMETHIKUL and his party. He said that under the background that China's "the belt and road initiative" initiative is deeply connected with the "Thailand 4.0" economic development strategy and the eastern economic corridor plan, the cooperation between the two countries in the field of education has also ushered in a historic development opportunity. Our school has always attached great importance to the educational cooperation with Thailand. With a bright vision of promoting the communication between the people and promoting mutual learning between humanities, our school also hopes to reach a consensus with Royal Thai University of Technology in personnel training, scientific research cooperation, cultural communication and educational services, cultivate friendship, actively integrate into the bilateral educational cooperation between China and Thailand, broaden the scope of our educational cooperation in Southeast Asia, and tap the potential of cooperation between the two universities.
Prof. Dr. Pakornkat Sawetmehikul, Vice President, thanked our school for warm reception and agreed with Vice President Yan Jie's proposal. He mentioned that it is a great honor to carry out international education cooperation and exchanges with Sichuan University of Science and Engineering. Nowadays, the exchanges between the governments and people of the two countries are becoming more frequent, and the Rajamangala University of Technology should keep up with current events and cherish opportunities. He said that the purpose of this visit is to deepen the field of international cooperation with our school and look forward to establishing educational cooperation and exchange relations with our school in the future, growing and developing together, and opening a new chapter in cooperation between the two universities.
Finally, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on international cooperation opportunities in personnel training, scientific research cooperation, teacher-student exchange visits and cultural communication.
