Wan Yi is a professor with post-doctor and a master’s supervisor. She is one of members of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Colleges and Universities in Sichuan Province, one of the first batch of “652” young top scholars at Sichuan University of Science & Engineering, and recipient of Academician Yan Deyue’s Scholarship from Sichuan University of Science & Engineering. She won the first National Young Scholar Award for Su Shi Research and the first prize for Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Zigong City. She has presided over many projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, the Ministry of Education's major research, the Sichuan Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Fund. Her main research field is the international communication of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
