Yan Xiaofang is an associate professor with doctor degree, a master’s supervisor and a postdoctoral fellow in Semiotics at the University of Helsinki. Concurrently she serves as a director of the Guangxi Foreign Literature Research Association and a distinguished researcher at the Semiotics - Media Studies Research Center of Sichuan University. She has published more than 50 papers, one monograph and one translated work (as the second translator).
