Shen Qiongzhu holds a doctor degree in literature. He currently serves as an associate Professor, a master's supervisor, and the deputy director of the Graduate Department at Sichuan University of Science & Engineering. He is mainly engaged in the teaching and research of Chinese modern and contemporary literature, writing, college Chinese, comparison of Chinese and Western cultures, special literature research in the 21st century and proposal writing. He has published more than 20 academic papers in journals and one academic monograph and participated in compiling two textbooks. He has presided over four projects at prefecture level and three projects at school level.
