Chen Chen is an associate professor and a master's supervisor. His research fields include economic statistics, regional economy and rural revitalization, asset investment and risk management, multi-objective optimization and intelligent algorithms. He was selected as a member of the "New Century Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project" of Jiangxi Province (2008), the "Science and Technology Talents Bank of Nanchong City, Sichuan Province", an evaluation expert of science and technology projects of Sichuan/Guangxi Science and Technology Department, and a think tank expert of Nanchong Municipal Committee of the CPPCC.  In recent years, he has led nearly 10 projects at the provincial and ministerial level and above, and more than 10 projects at the municipal and university levels. He has published more than 50 papers.
