Introduction to Ideological and Political Education

This is a core course designed for students majoring in ideological and political education, and is the introduction to all courses in this major. Through the teaching of this course, students majoring in ideological and political education will have a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the nature, training plans, employment positions, and other issues of ideological and political education. They will grasp the learning methods of ideological and political education courses, have a correct understanding of the profession, and lay a solid ideological foundation for students majoring in this field.

History of Marxist Development

This course is mainly aimed at educating undergraduate students majoring in ideological and political education on the development of Marxism’s history and Marxist practice. It helps students deepen their understanding of the development process of Marxism, recognize the three important components of Marxism, and the development of Marxism's nationalization and nationalization. It also helps students learn the stance, methods, and viewpoints of Marxism, identify and criticize non-Marxist ideological trends, improve the level of Marxist theory and enhance the ability to analyze and solve problems, and strengthen the belief in Marxism and communism.

Marxist philosophy

This course is a compulsory course for students majoring in political education. This course mainly provides students with education on the basic principles of dialectical materialism philosophy, enables them to master the basic viewpoints, positions, and methods of Marxist philosophy, assists students in mastering the Marxist worldview and methodology, and helps them establish a correct outlook on life and values and cultivate the ability to analyze and solve problems by using the viewpoints and methods of Marxist philosophy, thus improving their political and theoretical qualities and thinking level, laying a solid foundation for students to correctly understand Marxism, establish a firm belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics, and consciously adhering to the Party's line, principles, and policies.

Introduction to Political Science

Political science is the fundamental discipline of social sciences. Introduction to Political Science elaborates on the fundamental theories of political science, such as class, state, state type, state function, state form, state institutions, political parties, political participation, political culture, political development, etc. The study of these issues has general guiding significance for various branch disciplines and is helpful for studying other disciplines in the field of ideological and political education.

Introduction to the science of law

This course is a compulsory core course for undergraduates majoring in ideological and political education in higher education institutions. It is one of the main courses in the entire curriculum system and a compulsory course for obtaining a Bachelor’s  degree in Law science. This course not only requires students to develop modern legal awareness and constitutional ideals, but also requires them to master the general principles of law, be familiar with the main basic laws of China, and become good citizens who study, abide by, and protect the law. It also requires students to clarify relevant legal knowledge and its system, laying a solid legal foundation for becoming qualified ideological and political teachers, civil servants, and so on.

History of the CPC

History is the best textbook; history is the best teacher, Chinese revolutionary history is the best nutrient, and party history is a compulsory course. Since the founding of the CPC, it has carried out the study of the party history through various forms and channels, and used the party's history to educate the whole party, party members, cadres, young people, and the masses, so as to provide wisdom and strength for the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Only by correctly understanding the history of the Party can we better serve reality and open up the future. Looking back at the path of struggle in the past and the path of progress ahead, it is necessary to study and summarize the history of the Party well, inherit and carry forward the successful experience of the Party well. Studying this course is of great significance for the whole party, party members, cadres, teenagers and the masses to deeply understand why the CPC can, why Marxism can be practiced, and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is good, to deeply grasp the ruling law of the Communist Party, the law of socialist construction, and the law of human society development, and to carry out great struggles, build great projects, promote great undertakings, and realize great dreams with a historical initiative.

Ethics

This course is a fundamental course for ideological and political education majors. The main purpose of this course is to educate students on Marxist ethics, so that they can proficiently master the basic content and principles of Marxist ethics on the premise of a basic understanding of Chinese and Western ethical ideas, and be able to use them to judge and analyze various non-Marxist ethical ideas. More importantly, it is to improve students’ moral level and their ability to solve practical moral problems, laying a good foundation for creating a harmonious social and moral environment.

History of Ideological and Political Education of the CPC

Ideological and political education is the fine tradition and political advantage of the CPC. It evaluates problems by comparing with foreign situations for mutual reference.
