Chen Chao, a professor with doctor degree, a master's supervisor, and director of the High-Performance Science and Engineering Computing Center,  is a member of the Chinese Computer Society and a committee member of High-Performance Computing. His research focuses on AI and Big Data, Smart Cities, Computer System Architecture, Parallel Computing, and Intelligent Information Processing.  In recent years, he has published over 20 academic papers and two books and obtained three invention patents and 20 software copyrights. He led or participated in two national projects, six provincial/ministerial projects, and over 10 municipal and horizontal projects.
