Lan Jiming , an associate professor, has long been engaged in teaching and researching computer basics at the university level, currently serving as the Director of the Computer Basic Education Center . He is also a member of the Engineering Committee of the National Higher Education Computer Basic Education Research Association. Lan Jiming has won the honor of "Outstanding Teacher" many times at Sichuan University of Science & Engineering.  He has led four provincial and municipal research projects, three provincial and ministerial teaching research projects and published nearly 20 papers and four textbooks.
