On the afternoon of May 28, a graduating symposium for international students was held by the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (School of International Education) in Conference Room A1-527 at the Yibin Campus of Sichuan University of Science and Engineering (SUSE). International students from 11 countries, including Laos, Mongolia, Zimbabwe, Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Russia, Yemen, Benin, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, attended the meeting.

Li Yongmei, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and Dean of the School of International Education, delivered the final lecture to the  international students to be graduated in 2025. She encouraged those international students to be armed with the concept of lifelong learning and mutual learning and mutual reference. She hoped that all the international students should strive to become the outstanding contributors to society by applying the knowledge acquired at SUSE in practice. Moreover, Prof. Li has noted that because all the students have experienced the COVID-19 pandemic, during which both the Chinese government and SUSE have showed consistent concern for the health of international students, the graduates present, being with a heart of being grateful and inclusive,should strive to share their experiences and observations in China with people from all over the world as ambassadors of exchanges between China and other countries after graduation.She has also extended her hopes that all the students, being unforgetful of SUSE in the future, should continue to care about the development of SUSE and that they will be warmly welcomed to SUSE whenever possible. Finally, Having expressed their sincere gratitude to SUSE and its faculty members, the international students put forward some suggestions based on their practical circumstances.

Prior to the symposium, faculty members from School of International Education, together with those international students to be graduated in 2025 from the School of Economics, School of Management, School of Mathematics and Statistics, School of Computer Science and Engineering, and School of Automation and Information Engineering, took commemorative graduation photos.
