On April 3, Professor Mayue Xuefu, President of Kyushu Foreign Language Academy (KFLA), visited the School of Foreign Languages at SUSE. The delegation held discussions in Meeting Room A1–435 on topics including student study-abroad opportunities in Japan and international career support. Vice Dean Wu Chunrong and Professor Chen Qiang, Head of the Japanese Department, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Vice Dean Wu extended a warm welcome on behalf of the School of Foreign Languages and briefly introduced the school’s internationalized educational approach and achievements in cultivating Japanese-language talent. She emphasized that the school has consistently provided diversified development platforms for students. Through deepened international exchanges and cooperation, it has achieved significant results and gained positive international recognition. She noted that the school highly values its partnership with KFLA and will continue to support students in pursuing further studies and career development in Japan, looking forward to leveraging the strengths of both institutions to cultivate internationally competitive, well-rounded talents.

President Mayue expressed gratitude for the warm reception and provided a detailed overview of KFLA’s strengths in Japanese education, university guidance, and employment services. He highlighted that, in recent years, approximately 1,000 students have successfully progressed to prestigious universities in Japan, including the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Kyushu University, and Waseda University. KFLA will serve as a bridge, offering tailor-made study-abroad and career plans to support SUSE students in achieving high-quality overseas development.

The discussion laid a solid foundation for further deepening collaboration. Both sides expressed their commitment to jointly exploring new pathways for international talent cultivation and creating broader development opportunities for students of the School of Foreign Languages.
