International students of SUSE participate in 2025 Women’s Day study tour in Yibin

On the afternoon of March 7, female international student representatives from SUSE, hailing from Russia, Laos, Vietnam, Mongolia, Equatorial Guinea, and Morocco, were invited to participate in the Yibin International Students Women’s Day Study Tour 2025.

Held in celebration of the 115th International Women’s Day, the event was hosted by the Talent and University Town Affairs Office of the Yibin Municipal Party Committee under the theme “Her Power · Blossoming Together.” International students were invited to visit leading local enterprises and medical institutions to gain first-hand insights into the evolving social roles and contributions of women in China.

At Yibin Jimmy Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., students learned about the company’s innovation-driven development and were introduced to its independently developed projection technologies. They were also informed that President Xi Jinping had previously visited the company to inspect its progress in technological innovation. During the visit, students gained an overview of the company’s growth and expressed appreciation for the significant contributions made by female employees in research and development, production management, and innovation practices.

At the Lingang Campus of Yibin Second People’s Hospital, students toured outpatient and emergency departments as well as the health management center. They were impressed by the hospital’s intelligent guidance system, one-stop health examination services, and the integrated air–ground emergency rescue system supported by a helicopter landing platform. The visit highlighted the vital role of female medical professionals in advancing high-quality healthcare services.

Following the visits, international students from SUSE, Yibin University, and Yibin Vocational and Technical College took part in interactive activities organized by the host. Students from SUSE joined their peers in celebrating the occasion with the slogan “SUSE · Blossoming with Grace.” Through the study tour, participants gained deeper understanding of International Women’s Day and the remarkable contributions of women to social development.
