Kindred spirits remain close, though separated by a thousand miles.

In response to the 6.8-magnitude earthquake that recently struck Dingri County, Tibet, SUSE has received a condolence letter from its partner institution, Lac Hong University of Vietnam, conveying sincere sympathy and concern for affected faculty members, students, and local residents.

In the letter, Lac Hong University expressed deep compassion for those impacted by the disaster and affirmed its confidence that, under the strong leadership of the Chinese government and with the unity and resilience of the Chinese people, communities in the affected areas will overcome the difficulties, rebuild their homes, and restore normal life at an early date.

This message of support from afar has provided strong moral encouragement to faculty and students at SUSE from Tibet, and also reflects Lac Hong University’s high regard for the partnership between the two institutions and its commitment to humanitarian values.
